October has awesome fall weather, fall fashion colors, pretty fall leaves, and pumpkin patches. Pumpkin patches and pumpkin festivals are the greatest. I love buying all the inexpensive homemade pumpkin edibles and then buying a small pumpkin myself to take home and make into soup. And Dogfish Head brewery makes their Punkin’ Ale and it is seriously the beer of the gods.
